Great Dr., My primary care Dr. had exhausted his bag of tricks and was referring me to the Mayo Clinic. He wanted me to try Dr. Scheib as a last ditch effort. ***My problem presents itself "something" like Fibro, but does not respond to Fibro meds. All tests come back normal.*** Dr. Scheib is one of those super intelligent Doctors but also very thoughtful. I would recommend him highly
Dr Scheib seemed knowledgable in my rare autoimmune disease. However, it was his way or be written up as noncompliant, even if you said we can't afford that test/procedure at this time. In the end, my care was terminated because I took too long to reschedule a missed appointment. When I explained it was because I had foster kids who had several appointments I had to be at first and hadn't had time, he didn't care. Now I have to find a new rheumatologist and start over. He's an ok doctor if you have all the time in the world. But if you have a busy schedule, find another doctor that has more consideration.
