Used to love this place and would take all my scrap gold here. They say there's a holding period on your gold for 30 days. They say they could gain or loose within the thirty days which is a lie. Once that 30 days is up they put your jewelry out for sale like a pawn shop for ALOT of money. BEWARE!!!!
Very bad quality rings in the store. I went in to buy a wedding band and purchased one for $300. Bought on February 23rd, got home and a diamond had fallen out same day. Went back to the store and they put a new one in. Two weeks later, same diamond fell out AND I WASNT EVEN WEARING IT... we were engaged so I took it out to look at it and it fell out very easily. Brought it back and they fixed it within a week. THEN I didn't touch it AT ALL and I opened my jewelery box on my wedding day to find the same diamond missing. Went back to the store and asked for a refund on April 10th and they say "no we don't usually do that.."
I have bought several pieces of jewelry for myself and family over the years and was treated with respect and satisfaction. I left a TN pearl for a custom setting and it sat there from 4/6/13 to 4/5/14 without any feedback! I went in three times asking about the setting and was told a different excuse each time. I decided to go in and pick it up to take to a different jeweler. I expressed to the sales lady disappointment and the reason. She never apologized and treated with me a cold demeanor. The sales person I was working with, I presume one of the owners or family members, came over and stated he tried calling me three times. This was a bold faced lie in that I have caller id. He then went into the office with my jewelry envelope. The sales woman also went into the office and came back with the envelope showing me a presumed date on it of when he tried to call. She said that they called three times and that the number was disconnected. Why try calling a disconnected number 2 more times? I verified it was the correct number on the envelope. I would have appreciated honesty and an apology from anyone. It makes me wonder what else they are faking and lying about. It's a small community and I am going to tell everyone I know about there deceit.
Good priced jewelry. Very nice and helpful.
They said instead they would send it back to their company and get a brand new ring for me. I was okay with that... then when I got it back it still had a crack in the diamond and it has scratches all over it. Every time I went in there they did not want to do what I asked and they acted like I was in the wrong. There were three men standing at the counter when I went in today and told them about it and they said they didn't know if they got me a new ring or not... they just sent it back... so I said can I please just sell it back to you and he said he could buy it for $85. Absolutely ridiculous
My fiance bought my engagement ring through Maryville Jewelers. Tim and Lisa were great to work with. They listened to the type of ring I was looking for and were patient. They brought in multiple diamonds for us to look at until we found the perfect one! Once we picked the diamond, my fiance worked with them to design and create my dream ring. It was a quick process considering the ring was being custom made. I get compliments daily on how beautiful my ring is! Thanks, Maryville Jewelers!
