Under staffed. Some of the kids care staff can be rude. The equipment is old and seems like corprate does not care.

With better gyms only a couple minutes away, you'll be better off going to another gym.

This location has some issues (NO WIFI FOR MONTHS) but nothing and I mean NOTHING is as ridiculous than the front desk AM worker. (Female, redhead) I have never in my life witnessed a more unfriendly, miserable person in my life. Every single morning, this lady acts like you are the biggest inconvenience to her by the simple act of scanning your card and god forbid you actually ask her help for something. One morning when I was brand new, I asked for her help picking out a protein shake. She asked me how much protein I wanted and I explained I was new and didn't know. Her response was "Do you know how to use the internet and actually educate yourself?"

Golds is aware of her because I have read here and other reviews complaining about her.

The most meanest people I ever met in my life. I drove 30 minutes to go there with my girls, and what they do is send me back. Why you ask? Because they said they canceled the bringing kids free in my membership. They wouldn't even let me stay there to finish the class. I'm only gonna finish this yearly contract, and then I'm done.

The manager at this location is a fairly rude and cavalier about getting members. The gym is dirty, NO ONE re-racks their weights, and you'll have to go hunting for clips.

This morning I needed to pay my monthly dues and she rolled her eyes way back in her head and let out a loud excel of breath like you could imagine a teenage child doing. This went on for a while and she kept mumbling something under her breath. I finally asked her if I was an inconvenience to her this morning. She went on to complain about how no one ever leaves her enough money for change and people like me keep giving her 100 dollar bills. Then she said "So to answer your question, yes, you are an inconvenience to me this morning!" I was absolutely floored by this and was unable to speak. As I walked away she mumbled something again and I walked back and asked what she said. She, very condescendingly said "What, did I not move fast enough for you this morning?!?!" in the biggest smart*ss tone I've ever experienced!

This places gets dirtier every year.

Edit: 7/23/2017;

I went into the Gym last week in order to freeze my membership due to an upcoming deployment. Upon stating this fact, I was told that I must pay a $15.00 fee for that "service." Upon hearing this, I decided to cancel instead. I thought it a bit ridiculous to have to pay that "fee." I was then told that I must give a 30 day notice of my intent to cancel and that I would be charged any dues that would be billed within that 30-day period. I never signed a contract with Golds Gym, as I am a former Rush member, and I will be refusing to pay this extra month. With the lack of updates, cleanliness issues I would suggest other Gyms in the area. 24 hour Fitness, National Fitness and Planet Fitness are all fairly new and may be seeing me as a new customer as soon as I return.

It's hard enough getting the courage to go to a gym to begin with for most people and to come in and be treated like garbage by this person is unbelievable!!! I won't, WILL NOT, ever set foot back in this gym again! Life is way too short and hard enough to be around miserable people like her!
