Jennifer started to color my hair and then she ran out of color half way through the process. She blamed it on my hair being so thick, (she is the professional she should know how much she needs) but ok not a big deal at this time. She went and mixed another batch while I sat and waited with half my hair covered in color. When she came back the mix in the container looked lighter, I didn’t think much of it at the time because I know color will get darker as it sits.
As soon as I got in my car I noticed my color was spotty and I could see three different colors. Spots of the color I went in with, the majority of the color was what I had picked out and then a third color mostly on the top that when the sun hit it appeared copper color. Also my hair was “extremely frizzy”. I thought about going right back in there but I didn’t want to be confrontational and I had somewhere I had to be.
Girl this place is legit. Chelsey hun, you’re the best. She was super nice and we had many laughs. She helped me pick out colors for my hair and they’re amazing!!! We call it the Magical Phoenix (a Garnet and fuchsia ombré)! I completely recommend this salon and they have amazing prices as well as extremely friendly service.
Finally she washes and dries my hair. When she was finished I looked in the mirror and it seemed ok, however the lighting in this salon is absolutely horrible, it was pretty dark in there so I couldn’t really see the color until I went outside.
Horrible. Screwed my hair up. I'll never go here again. You get what you pay for here.
My first experience at this Cost Cutters was a positive one however In July of 2015 I went back and had one of the worst experiences ever. Both times I had Jennifer, when I arrived this time there were two of them working and they went back and forth over who was going to do my hair right in front of me. Made me feel like neither of them wanted to do it.

As I sat down Jennifer remarked on how nice and healthy my hair was (in my opinion my hair looked the best it has looked in many years. Barely had any split ends or fizziness)
Over the last few months I have gotten lots of comments about the copper color that I did not ask for and I am completely disgusted at the damage she has done to my hair, my hair hasn’t been this frizzy for a decade or more. I know she left the color on my hair for way way to long. I will never go back there again.
After she cut his hair they hung out and talked for a while, not once did she say “I need to get back to my other customer” nor did she go ahead and start working on me again, she continued talking to them until they left on their own. Meanwhile I am now chilled from sitting in the back with my head wet for so long.
Just before she finished a woman and a teenage boy came in and she remarked she had been cutting his hair since he was very young. She ask me to sit in the back while she cut his hair, again not a problem at the time but that soon changed.
