I love to support local and the most important thing is Bill's Outpost has incredible pricing that is hard to beat even if you shop online. They have a huge selection and often a good variety and most of the staff is awesome to deal with.
This was my 1st gun purchase. Staff was friendly and helpful. I plan on returning in the future.
Very poor customer service and knowledge of firearms. I told the guy I had 3 guns I was looking for to purchase in the next few months(subcompact double stacked 9mm, a browning 308,and Springfield m1a) I didn't get past gun number 1 before I walked out. I was out right ignored when i tried to inform the guy helping me that a firearm we were interested in came with a safty as an option, after telling him 3 times with no acknowledgement, I just waited for him to come back...... he could not tell me any features on any of the guns we looked at besides "this is a sweet shooting gun" or " you can't go wrong with this one". We looked at a total of 3 handguns, in the middle of helping me he walks off to get in on the conversation going on in front of the store about shooting distances or something.
My first visit told me everything i needed to know, and it was my last. I will not waste my time going back for any firearms, accessories, or ammo.
They had a pretty decent selection of firearms, however, with planned purchases I would at least like to be given the time of day. Especially when going out of my way on my trip home from work.
Wonderful selection. I bought a Stevenson 12 Gauge here. Great staff. They informed me that they were there if I needed anything, but left me alone to look and shop for myself. That’s a rare trait to find nowadays.
