(3) removing all identifying information from that dog, including its collar; and
Great customer service everyone was very friendly and made sure to ask if I needed help finding anything.
Laura and Shelby were so patient and went above and beyond to ensure that all questions were answered and that my soon-to-be 9 year old is happy with his new hamster. Thank you ladies!
(4) abandoning that dog in West Knox County (specifically, Sequoyah Hills), in the dark and cold to fend for itself.
WITH AN EMPLOYEE LIKE THAT AT PETSMART IN MARYVILLE, TENNESSEE, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO PATRONIZE THIS STORE???
The employees at this store are incredibly rude and tonight was the very last time that I will ever step foot in this store. My husband and I were checking out trying to secretly get a betta fish tank for one of our daughters, while our our kids looked at the fish. We spent $105, which is a typical visit for us since we own two dogs, 3 cats, 3 bearded dragons, a ton of fish and many rabbits. My daughter has been trying to decide on what pet she wants to save up for to go in a tank in her room. I told her she could take 4 of the care sheet pamphlets with her so we could read them and see what was needed to care for each animal to make a good choice. We were the only people in line and the kids were not alone for more than a few minutes at most. An employee came over to the line escorting my kids and saying they shouldn't be unsupervised and said they were tearing up things. All of them denied it and it doesn't sound like something my kids would do. My daughter that was picking out the pamphlets was crying and said she had taken them all from her.
(1) stealing a dog (a Dachshund) from one of her neighbors in Maryville, Tennessee;
Would had gave a 5 but the cashier thought it was more appropriate to chat about college with other workers instead of caring for the customer... first thing in customer service is to give your full potential to the customer and make sure to show respect with eye contact. chatting about personal life can be done during breaks, before and after shifts, or when there is not a customer right in front of you wanting to just pay for their items.
She was very snide and rude, so I wanted to speak to the manager. The manager did not care at all at us being upset about the employee's rudeness and said the pamphlets were for customers. We just spent $105, sorry, I didn't realize we weren't customers. He said we could return what we just bought, so we did and went to Pet Supplies Plus, who were very kind and helpful. When my husband was returning the items, he said the kids were banging on glass and running around. Really? Which was it, tearing up papers or banging on the glass in the few minutes it took to check out? My kids are well behaved, the girl was just trying to cover her butt for her rudeness by making excuses and putting the blame elsewhere. My daughter cried for a long time after leaving, we will definitely never return.
PetSmart employee Annette Heckber violated the law by doing all of the following:
(2) putting that dog in her car;
Though I called both Knox County and Blount County to report this incident (which Annette Heckber shared with me over the telephone), nothing was done because of the change in jurisdiction (from Blount County to Knox County)..
