Nobody would call this tiny motel a luxury motel, but it was clean and inexpensive, and fine if you just want a bed for the night.

Horrible! The owners/managers are rude. The rooms aren't worth $20.00 a night. I would steer clear of this place.

We wanted to give this place a fair review. In all honesty we would actually give it a 2 STAR RATING but I don't think that would be fair without explaining. We reserved our 2 rooms a month in advance to travel to watch the eclipse in totality. This was not our first choice, second, third, etc etc. It was our last and only option for miles around. We booked the room without reading reviews as it was are only option. The day we were to arrive we read the reviews and laughed and laughed wondering what we were getting ourselves into. Our kids prepared for the worst and assured us they would be murdered staying here. So here's the review...

Recently, we stopped by on the way to the Smoky Mountain Park, ask the clerk to let us look at your room and he took us to see one of the room and they have remodel the room with new furniture, bedding, and draperies, too. So, we decided to stay for the night. It was very pleasant, quiet, comfortable and very hot water-shower. We like early morning walk where are most convenient located less than fifty steps to green way walking trail, food store across the street stays open 24-hours where we bought our sandwich at late night. Location is very right off the road and away from the airport where you don’t hear plane take off and landing. I do recommend anyone who is visiting the city to stop by. ,

A brand new, good service, Holiday Inn Express should only get a 3 at best, so a 2 for this hotel shouldn't be frowned on. If you need a place to stay and don't want to break the bank then I would recommend staying here. If you want to make it more enjoyable then I would recommend bringing your own bedding and toiletries (upon hearing the reviews our kids all grabbed their own pillows etc, we did not).

Bottom line, it's cheap and clean and provides a safe place to sleep if you need one. I would stay here again if I was stopping through Alcoa on my travels.

DO NOT BOOK WITH EXECUTIVE LODGE, Alcoa TN. The owner and manager, Raj, gave me the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. After a family emergency occurred 24 hours prior to our check in date, I called to request a refund as the situation was out of our control. He LITERALLY YELLED at me on the phone, telling me “it’s not his fault”. No compassion or understanding, let alone professionalism. We were charged for one night stay and he refused to give me any information to contact the corporate office. Beyond the fact we were charged one night due to a 48 hr cancellation policy he was incredibly cold, rude and offensive when speaking with me. Do yourself a favor and KEEP LOOKING!!!

BUT, it works. It's clean. It's friendly. The A/C worked very well. There are no drug dealers, no serial rapists, no rabid dogs lurking near the ice machine (wait I'm not sure if there even IS an ice machine), and certainly no prostitution rings. We paid $139 for 2 rooms for 1 night with a 1:00pm Checkout. We've easily paid 4 times that amount for one night and only one room. 2 star is fair. Not bad. Fair.

yes, it's rough. It's outdated. The decor is mismatched and at times doesn't make sense. It's obvious that the painters weren't professional. The tv isn't just an old 20" crt (the big tube tvs) it's a bad one. We have 2 remotes, one for changing the channel and the other for controlling the volume. The towels are something we'd have draped over our stove handle to dry our hand and not care if we threw away. The beds, bedding, and pillows are far from luxury and closer to poverty. Yes it's a 2 star MOTEL.
