Rented a car in NY that broke down half way to Tennessee. Was put in a gas guzzler and then transferred to a no option car. Very unhappy with the service and vehicles they stuck me with!!! When you start off with a fully loaded SUV that gets good gas mileage and plenty of room, then end up in a small Malibu for the same price, in not happy! Rent from hertz or Avis instead!
I love renting car at Knoxville Airport Budget. Loreta is my Customer Service Rep. she's always very responsive, quick and very cheerful, friendly. I'm a frequent monthly rental here. So she knows what I need, model year and the car.
BUDGET RENT A CAR NO GOOD!! So I go to Budget to pick up the Chevrolet Impala I rented a couple of weeks ago. They say, we don't guarantee make or model. We're going to give you something "similar." A Nissan Altima - a smaller car, 10 inches shorter and 4 inches less legroom in the back seat. Okay, I paid for an Impala (or similar) and the attendant said they are in stock but they're considered "luxury." I don't care what label you put on them, if you say I'm paying for an Impala then don't try to give me a different class, smaller car that I could have rented for less money! Period. Feel free to share, this isn't the first time this has happened and I am fed up with it. I complained to customer service and they said they could not help me. I tried to attach a copy of my rental agreement but it didn't show up.
I arrived at 11:30pm on Thursday night- there was a gentleman in front of me who had booked his car on the wrong day and was clearly in a mood. Lorena kept a cheerful disposition and handled him like a champ- even though he was causing a long line to form with his issues. When I got to the desk, she was gracious and helpful- she enrolled me in Fastbreak so the next time I could grab and go! This location got lucky with Lorena #win
